I'm just writing to say hello to all of my friends, and to let them know that I'm up and well. Hello, dears. Santa Cruz is beautiful this time of year, the air thickening and taking on an entirely new smell. Somehow, I never expect it. Alas, my journal is yet in disrepair, as I'm not terribly internet-savvy. I ought to call Audre; she, being a masterful communicator in all media, ought to know something more than I. I've been meaning to get together with her, anyway -- Carriacou must be a beautiful place, if she refuses to leave it for New York. We could relax, break open a few coconuts, and watch the ocean. I think I'll make that phone call now.
